Layout measure different for lenght and area (AutoCAD 2016)

Hi,

I'm using AutoCAD 2016. I have a problem with measuring in Layout. When I use "Measure" tool for distance, it is shown 40 (as mm on paper) and after measuring it' 2000 (real distance in mm). When I use "Measure" tool for area, it always measures area on paper. In previous AutoCAD I used area measurement in same case and in worked perfectly - real area in mm was shown. How can I change measuring the real vs. paper distance?

Drawing in model is in scale 1:1, then layout in 1:50.

Drawing units are everywhere set to mm.

Page setup is in mm.

-DWGUNITS <3> (mm)

DIMASSOC <2> (0,1 with no change)

Thanks for response.

Post the DWG file here, and put notes in there so we can replicate.

Hi,

I had this problem just in one file. I made a new file, copy-paste everything from one to another and the problem dissapeared. I assume, that the first file was somehow damaged. New one works just fine.
