Help! Page Setup and other...!

Hi, I need some help. 

I am using AutoCAD 2018 on Windows.

I design floor plans, so I need the page layout and page setup should be same each time I create or open AutoCAD.

all I need is the page setup , layout, Layer and other stuffs should be saved so that when I create  new file I can use he old layers and page setup...

Please help!

then prepare your needed CAD info ( page setup,Layers,...) in an empty dwg then save it as .dwt CAD file ( Save As command) . then you can get it always from Ctrl+N shortcut . 

also you can control it from OPTIONS command (see below image )

You can also use the DesignCenter to access layouts, layers and other feature  from another DWG file.

I would suggest you to start a new drawing, in that file create every CAD standard that you need in common for every newly created file. For example :

Create the Layers

Load the Linetypes

Do the Pagesetup

Create the layout sheet title block

Dimension style

Text style

 

Then Save-as the file as .dwt in the default template folder

 

Next time when you create a new drawing from the Start page, select the template you created previously and all the CAD Standards you had set before will be included in the drawing.
