Facing problems with opening a DWG file

Dear all,

I would like to open a DWG file. But, it has shown like what the image is showing now. So, could anyone tell me how to open those files without affecting its originality?

Best Regards,

The Meaning of the Pop up is, You have some XREFs in the drawing which is missing. (CHECK THIS)

Hey,

To add on what has been said in the above comments, i would suggest you "Open the External References Pallete" while opening the drawing. In the XREF pallete you shall see all the drawing attached to the dwg file. You can then locate the file path for the XREFS attached in the drawing under the "Details>Found at/Saved path".

You may alternatively "ignore the unresolved reference files", to open you drawing but that would mean that the drawing cant really located the path for the xrefs in your computer.

I'm not sure what you really want to do. The error, as stated by others, tells you that CAD can not find the referenced files. If you need them to reference properly you will have to open the reference manager from within the file and re-path the referenced files.

Did someone send you this file? If you don't have the xref files, you will need to request them from whomever sent you the file.
