AutoCAD startup / preloaded drawings help

Hello everyone,

I have been working with Autocad for nearly 10 years now and I have unfortunately forgot some of the grass-root beginners "need to knows". My issue is a bit odd and out of the ordinary however, as I will begin to explain.

A few days ago, for some reason I somehow screwed up my Autocad default settings. Whenever I now first open Autocad whether it be a new design file or an existing, the dialogue box "Scale Options" pops up and I click the  "OK" button... after that for some reason my Autocad is somehow referring to another file I have that is full of details I have made/collected over the years (TONS OF GENERIC DETAILS, VERY LARGE FILE!) Which for one slows the startup of my Autocad program and secondly I don't ever need all of these details at once. That's why I have them in a separate file, so I can cherry pick the ones I need for the project I am working on.

Can someone help me find my way outta this mess? I honestly cant think of any odd or out of the ordinary actions I did to cause this. Feel like Autocad has a mind of its own, possible first beginnings of a malevolent AI???

PS: I've tried going through "Options" > "Drawing Template path" etc, etc... and checked all of them and they appear to all be fine?
