PaperSpace Dimensions wacky?
So I am stumped..
We sent a drawing file and when the user on the receiving end opened it... the Annotative Dimensions in PaperSpace / Layout Tab went wacky (see below images) as if there was another annotation scale somehow added to and controlling the dimensions other than 1=1. The Dimension Style was the OOTB Dimension Style "Annotative" using a DIMLFAC override of -64.9732 (odd Viewport Scale of 0.015391). But DIMLFAC only effects dimension measurements. The OOTB "Annotative" uses the "Annotative" text style and by default Annotation Scale of 1=1.
It is my experience that when Dimensions are done on a Layout Tab by default are done with a Annotative Scale of 1=1. The only way I know of adding another Annotative Scale to Layout Tab Annotative objects is through widget on the Properties Palette when such a Dimension(object) is selected. I found that I could replicate the below image by adding another scale rep other than 1=1 and then deleting the 1=1 representation through the widget on the properties palette (Annotation Object Scale accessible from the Properties Palette when the dimensions are selected.)
The receiver asked how they could fix this?
My thoughts are that the user could select the dimensions, add back in the 1=1 Representation and then delete the bad Annotation Scale through the Properties Palette Annotation Scale widget.
I am wondering how this happened?
I am wondering now if the receiver has a version of AutoCAD that doesn't support Annotative objects? ...
Thoughts?
