co- ordinates

Untitled.pngWhile using slice tool, even though i entered the right co-ordinates, it doesn't specify the second and third point for slicing.  what could be the issue?

Hi,

>> even though i entered the right co-ordinates

From what I see in the screenshot AutoCAD is waiting for the third point ...

Hi,

But I don't have your file to know where these coordinates are in the model.

What happens when you type in the third point (you need it anyway)

It is not specifying the third point also. With the co-ordinates i entered the second point should be in the place where cursor is in the screenshot but it indicates only the end point of the line.

Hi,

please upload the dwg-file and the 3 points you'd like to enter specifying the slicing plane.

That's because your image indicates that you have 3D Object Snap turned on.

Now turned it off and tried. It shows"2D point or option keyword required".

Hi,

object snap or 3D-object snap should not influence the result ... except you have set this option to not default:

Start command _OPTIONS, tab "User Preferences" and make sure the marked settings is the same as in the screenshot:

You can look to my video here, it shows that using your 3 points with your drawing works well.
I don't know why you think that a point - when you entered the coordinate - is not used by AutoCAD.
