AutoCAD Architecture & Raster Design on 2019 Ipad Pro

I read an article a while back titled  "Will the new AutoCAD help kill the laptop?" when Apple released the 2018 Ipad Pro with the A12X chip. It stated that "The latest iPad Pro for the first time features the desktop engine of AutoCAD, with pro-users being able to create, edit, and view drawings directly on the mobile device. It also said "the new application required the team to “rearchitect” the entire core engine".

I interpreted this to mean that it would be the desktop version on AutoCAD including the ability to run AutoCAD Architecture and Raster Design (among others in the 2019 version). Of course, that would ONLY be with the new Apple Pen (no mouse).

Does anyone know if that is true? I currently run the 2017 Ipad pro and it will only run the AutoCAD mobile app with limited drawings and editing features. I want to be able to draw AEC Objects...walls, doors, windows, etc on site through AutoCAD Architecture.

Are they just saying when they had to rearchitect the Core Engine, was that just for the display and regeneration of objects on an ipad? All the research I have done provides no more information regarding this.

Using "full AutoCAD" is the only reason I would upgrade to the new Ipad.

Yes. I have a surface pro to do this but I was hoping to use the much lighter ipad.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Thx.
