OSNAP and moving objects by distance - ACAD2010
I have encountered specific issue which i don't remember to had in the past, but it could be older version than ACAD 2010. I workarounded this by disabling and enabling OSNAP till now but it started to piss me off.
Example: I have two lines placed in parallel orientation among them (left line and right line). I have text object which is moved from right line to the base point of this object by distance 27.15. I would like to move it to 28.0 distance.
So (having OSNAP enabled) i choose text object, use MOVE command, select object by basepoint, move object to the right line and choose "FROM" snap mode (RMB) then select left line with perpendicular handle (the handle is displaying so i am sure the object will be moved in straight line to the left) and type 28. The result is - the object returns to 27.15.
If i disable OSNAP before i type 28 then the object will be moved correctly. With OSNAP enabled it won't work.
If distance be much longer, for example 80 then it will work with OSNAP or without. But on shorter distances the ACAD just ignores the move operation. Is this some variable setting issue? I spotted it mainly on bigger drawings.
