convtosurface command is not working
I want to convert this mesh into surface.
I tried the command, convtosurface, but this command ends with error.
I want to know the reason of this problem.
If it is the problem of my PC, please let me know the required features of CPU or RAM.

Hi,
>> but this command ends with error.
What was the error? Which message did you get?
Also which version of software did you use (please show us a screenshot from command _ABOUT)
>> I want to know the reason of this problem.
Hard to know without know your error ... ![]()
From what I tried I could guess that it's a question of memory amount, my 32GB were not enough to convert your 300.000 vertex mesh.

Hi @Anonymous,
I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!
My computer was really struggling with this large mesh as well. I don't know if this is a viable method for you but if I explode the mesh I end up with faces which convert to surfaces quite easily.
This obviously will yield many surfaces instead of a single one.
