Block Hatch Order

Good Afternoon, first post on here, so forgive me if in wrong place,

Looking for some advice on a basic problem that has been annoying me for a few days.

I have a set of icons (blocks) that i created from scratch for my current employer a few years ago. I have been using them day i  and day out no problem. I am using Autocad 2019. however some of my staff use older 2012 versions.

on a lot of occasions then they paste the icons (blocks) from our source library drawing into a new drawing the order of the hatching gets messed up and the icons hatching moves to the front over identification text etc.

to compound the problem i was working on a drawing that was originally created by one of my staff the other day and now the problem is occurring on my machine.

See images attached for reference, problem effects different icons (blocks) at different times, seems a bit random.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

so far I have tried...

  • Re-Making all blocks (was fine after on my machine but not on 2012)
  • Ensuring there are no overlaping hatches in each block
