Hello guys.
I am very frustrated with this issue that persists.
I NEVER use the imperial system. no inches, feet whatever, I have both AutoCAD and Revit set to millimeters and all my projects I receive are in millimeters.
So why does Revit decide to convert everything when I import my CAD?
I have contours for a Topo surface in DWG and imported it to Revit and everything is multiplied by 25.4.
What is going on?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
An AutoCAD drawing is in Imperial units (feet/inches), but needs to be converted to Metric units
Scale Factors:
Inches to Millimeters = 25.4
Millimeters to Inches = 0.0393701
Inches to Centimeters = 2.54
Centimeters to Inches = 0.393701
Feet to Millimeters = 304.8
Millimeters to Feet = 0.00328084
Feet to Centimeters = 30.48
Centimeters to Feet = 0.0328084

Hi,
AutoCAD drawing files may be in Imperial or Metric units. While the UNITS command in AutoCAD will control display, input, and visual feedback of units data, the DWGUNITS command sets the true system of units.
A good template will have both of these setup properly for users.
INSUNITS can be set via command or in the UNITS dialog.
Not too familiar with other settings that might affect Revit as you described but another check could be the Annotation Scaling on Model Space. I can't imagine that Paper Space Viewport scales would apply any issues to Revit.
