11 x 17 printer e

I 'm trying to print but 11 X 17 is not an available size to choose. Do I add 11 X 17 as a print option? Also, printer properties/ device and document setting/ custom paper sizes: the option to modify an existing size is grayed out.

Gotta make sure you are choosing a printer that has 11x17 (or ANSI B) size capability.

I meant for you to make sure you are selecting that printer in the printer dialog.  After you select the printer you then choose the paper size.  It could be listed 3 ways... 11x17, ANSI B, or Tabloid.

Can you print to 11x17 from other programs with the printer and driver?

If yes, are you selecting the Windows driver installed in Windows on your PC in AutoCAD? or something else like a narrowly defined PC3 file that can be set to limit your choices?

Your 11x17 printer make/model is what? You did not say.
Your Windows OS is what? We can't guess.
Your Windows Driver version for the printer is what?
Your AutoCAD year version is what? We can't see your screen.

The sheet size, such as 11x17, is only available if the printer is capable of printing on a sheet that size. If your choice of printer can only print a maximum size of 8.5"x11.0" then 11x17 will not be available because the actual paper will not physically fit into the printer's tray.

You will either have to select another printer or choose a printer that makes electronic copies, such as a PDF, rather a printer that makes hardcopies.
