Thanks, but I already set aperature to 40. I think I mentioned that in
my post.
As I described, there seems to be a separate aperture value being used
for the AREA command only.
The problem is specific to AREA. When running AREA, the aperture size
changes while I am selecting points under the area command.
With everything being the same, I can draw lines around the area I want
to measure, and osnap works perfectly. I switch to AREA, try to select
the same points in the same sequence, zoomed out exactly the same....but
I can't. It simply won't grab any points! I have to zoom in pretty
close before it will grab any points.
End command, and everything goes back to normal.
