Multileaders Disappearing

Whenever I switch to model space in the attached drawing the existing multileaders disappear.

Hi,

The multileader objects are created in paperspace, not in modelspace (not within the viewport), so therefor you can't see the multileaders in the modelspace.

Hi,

>> Unless I explode them.

Are you referring to these objects?

If not then you should send us all dwg-files (used as XREF in your first file) so we see all what you see and so all maybe other multileader objects.

Hi,

Please make sure paper space is active in that layout, then draw a selection window over the whole paper area ... do you get the mleader objects selected?

This is what I get, these objects are part of paperspace and not modelspace, exploding them will result in exploded sub-entities in paperspace, not in modelspace.

Hi,

you can also verify the number of objects in the modelspace: double click within the viewport limits (or use command _MSPACE) and then press <CTRL><A> to get all selected, this is what I get with your drawing:

8 XREF's

11 Text objects

(0 MLeader objects)

The attache video demonstrates the problem I am having.

If you want to have these MLeader objects in the modelspace you can use command _CHSPACE (>>>details<<<), but take care about the annotative scales assigned to these objects.

Hi,

Thank you for showing the video, it makes it clear that change to modelspace and then back to paperspace is needed :cara_guiñando_un_ojo:

Can you please start command _ABOUT and show is a screenshot of that dialog. I can't reproduce what you are showing when using AutoCAD 2019 Update 1.2.

You can fix this easily.  First, move the leaders to Model space.  Then using properties match the annotative scale to the viewport scale. See attachments.  Your viewport is 1:30  change your leaders to that by adding that scale.  You will have to stretch the leaders to fit with the scale.  Once you have the annotative scale that matches the viewport, everything should show up.  You can select all the leaders when you make these changes in properties.leaders in model spaceleaders in model spaceAdd scaleAdd scaleadd 1:30 scaleadd 1:30 scaledelete 1:1 scaledelete 1:1 scaleannotative object scaleannotative object scaleCropperCapture[676].png

This just happened to me. In model space, I had accidentally clicked off "Show annotation objects - Always". I clicked it back on and my multileaders were visible again in model space.cad.jpg
