Exporting dwg files to Maya for animation

Does anyone know if you can create a 3d model in autocad and export it to Maya for tue purposes of rigging it for animation purposes?

Looking to >>>that list<<< it seems it can import AutoCAD DWG-files, doesn't that work?

You might also try command _EXPORT and try the formats IGES and SAT (and STL)

Here are all the ways you can take your AutoCAD 3D model to Maya using Autodesk products. With the easiest way being the direct DWG file open in Maya...
