Been working with hatch and layer transparency fairly frequently. Never had a problem with this feature working until today. Doing a revision to an existing drawing and after plotting I noticed the 50% transparent layer was plotting too dark. I checked the page setup, and "Plot Transparency" was checked. Transparency Display is 'On', so I see the transparent layer in the viewport. I went back to my original drawing to make sure I wasn't seeing things, and sure enough the plot from 2 weeks ago showed the transparent layer at 50%. Today I cannot get the same .dwg file to plot properly. Anybody have a clue what my fat fingers pressed by accident this time...lol?
Thanks,
Alan

A part:
Memory issue / driver problem.
Workaround is going dwg -> pdf -> paper

wow...excellent help, thank you! I think you nailed it...must be a memory or driver issue. I used batch plot to plot to pdf in autocad. The transparency did not show up there (screen shot of today's plot). But then I printed that pdf to another pdf, and the transparency showed up perfectly there. How strange. I will update my driver and have a known memory issue, which now needs to be dealt with immediately. Thanks again.
