AUTOCAD choosing printer to use base on paper size
Thank you all for taking the time to read this. In my office I have several printers that print 8-1/2"x11", one of which is my default printer in windows. I also have a printer configured to only print 11"x17" and a plotter which will print B,C and D sizes.
8/10 times I print to the default windows printer option under "Printer/plotter" in the Plot Dialog box. When I want to print to 11"x17" I have to chose a different printer and the paper size. Is there anyway to make a pc3 file for a certain printer to print out a paper size each time? Say I want 3 different printer pc3 files for my plotter, depending on which paper size I want utilized without having the change the paper size and only the printer.
I am using Autocad 2018, recently upgrading from LT2019 after years of 2014LT.

Of course! This is one of the primary reasons that PC3 files exist. Once you've created the PC3 file (giving it a name that gives you a hint about the printer name and the page size, perhaps), then you must select that PC3 file when you run the plot.

Yes, but related.
A page setup includes a reference to a printer, directly, or indirectly, via a PC3.
