I'd suggest switching your workspace to a 3D modeling workspace to give you easy access to solid modeling tools such as VISUALSTYLES, UCS, EXTRUDE and SUBTRACT, along with the basics such as PLINE, CIRCLE, TRIM, EXTEND, and annotation commands.
I do not know how much help you need on this but typically these forums won't do the problem for you but rather point you in the direction you need to go.
Luckily for you, if you are studying to be an engineer, when you get your engineering job there will most likely be CAD Technicians and Designers that do this as a career that you get to hand this sort of thing off to.
