Across drawing dimension style?

How do I either set a dim style to be standard in every file or set it and save it so I can just open/import it into new drawings?

Hi,

There are many ways that you can follow :

  • you can insert it from Ctrl+2 ( Design Center ) >> open drawing tab >> double click over Dimstyle then drag and drop to your current opening dwg .
  • make a new .dwt template file that contain your dimstyle .

For new drawings:
Create the DimStyle and make it to the current one in the TemplateFile(s).

For existing drawings:
Drag the DimStyle from the DesignCenter into your current drawing. It must have an unique name wich not yet exists in the current drawing.
