Dynamic Blocks are what this forum covers.  It doesn't sound like you are using dynamic blocks.

Hi,

When reading your question you use the term assemble. I suppose you are using AutoCad and not Fusion360 or Inventor (where there's a thing such as "Assembly's" and which are both excellent programs for designing machines and machining components.

In case you are using groups, have you tried setting your _PICKSTYLE to 1?

could you please share your .dwg file with us?

If we could replicate the behaviour than we might have a better chance to figure out what is wrong.

First I exploded your group, moved the parts to the correct position and created a new group. Than save, close, reopen - all is ok.

A second try: I made your group selectable, moved ( the parts to their correct position, made the group deselectable. Then again save, close, reopen - again all is well.

This means, I can't see any errors nor problems. I guess you must tell us more... (what you did exaclty). Maybe you can try yourselve what happens if you explode your group and create a new one (?)

Sorry, I tried it again and can not replicate the behavior you described.

What do you mean with " with out using group order"?

Please tell us, how you use the group command exactly. In such a manner that we can it reconstruct here.

Attached a screencast what I do:
https://autode.sk/2raDVlR
- assuming there are any 3D-Solids
- move the solids to a whished position  to get an assembly
- group all items of the "assembly"
- do any modifying with the group (move, rotate, 3Drotate, ...)
- save and close the drawing
- reopen the drawing: all is fine, no problems, no one item "flies away".

And now tell us what you do and what happens.
