converting .svs to.dwg

How can I change an svs file extension to a dwg extension?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Simply open Windows Explorer to locate the file, rt-click on it and use rename.  Save it with .dwg as the last 4 characters and then you should be able to open the file.

I have done that but the file extension has not changed.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

I am guessing that you are actually not seeing the file extension.  Please verify in your Windows Folder Options that you do not have the Hide extensions selected. You are welcome to also email the file to me (john.vellek@autodesk.com) so I can test.
