I apologize for my late reply as i was out of the office for a short time. I looked at the bed model and decided the cleanest way of working with it is to open it in 3DS Max first and then export it as a drawing from there.  (optional - Once the drawing is opened in AutoCAD, rt-click on it and convert the meshes to solids.)  I then save the drawing and use it as a block to insert into your plan.  As I indicated in your other thread, the units were a big concern for me.  I measured the bed in AutoCAD and it measures correctly in Imperial architectural units.

 

Note, that working with such objects from 3DS Max are very large and can impact the performance of your drawing. You might consider being selective of the imported geometry. For instance, the rectangular objects might be better created in AutoCAD directly to keep your file size more reasonable.
