Question for the Group...

Does anyone know if "Tables" in the most recent versions of AutoCAD (from 2014 and up) can be used to help export information if inserted and used in REVIT?

The reason I ask is that recently we had to create "Area Spaces" for items in a REVIT project. In the past we just use to import these items as "Dumb-Blocks" into REVIT just as a space holder. Now we've been told... (months after starting the project) that the files all need to be REVIT compatible. Obviously if we had known this before we started the project we would have done our detailing in REVIT or outsourced the work.

That all being said, "Is there a way to  - Update REVIT files with AutoCAD Blocks" via using attributes & or Tables?

If so, 1.) How do we "Fix the AutoCAD File(s)?... 2.) In REVIT, "How do we Extract that information"?

As usual any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance...
