Hi,

why don't use Copy command since you need it in the same drawing ( as you said ) ??!!.  copy/paste procedure usually used for multiple dwg's copy objects . you may try to Recover and Purge ( Reg ) commands first for your drawing then try copy/paste and see if any changes .

I'm preparing to copy paste between dwg's. But I still can't get it on the same dwg.

Why I should use Recover and Purge for this purpose?

You Audit and Purge the current drawing (or Recover and Purge a closed drawing) for corrupted elements. If something isn't working as expected this may remove something that is preventing an expected action from occurring.

Can you post your drawing so we can look at it?

Maybe its keyboard problem and you can try right click on line and select copy from there, after that paste it in another drawing

How are you trying to copy and paste it? With keyboard short cut cntrl+C or with the right click mouse menu?  Can you copy and paste other things normally and just this particular thing isn't working? Copy and paste won't work if you have a command active or a selection window active.

Last but not least, copy/paste is impossible while REFEDIT !

What does the command line respond if you write COPYCLIP and press ENTER ?
