SKetchUp Pro is not 3DSMax unless you truly under use the latter dramatically.
SketchUpPro 2018 is $695: you get one year subscription/support with that.
it's cheaper to just stay with your current perpetual AutoCAD that you own right now.
SketchUpPro 2019 in a year will lock you out when the file is updated in a newer version: and there is no free converter to knock it back down (free version today is cloud-based crippleware). Are you going to be an island so to speak, not sharing files with anyone? To buy into the next version is another $695 (if no prices are hiked) unless you agree to a subscription model.
There are way better alternates to AutoCAD that are way better than SketchUp is you do "cad". Assuming you really need to move from your current perpetual AutoCAD version anyway.
There are better priced alternates to 3DSMax is you only ever use it as SketchUp, namely I suggest SketchUp itself.
