Sketch-Up

Just a note from a frustrated unhappy customer

Okay looks like it's time to switch over to SketchUp.

I've been using AutoCAD since AutoCAD 12 for Doss, and 3D Studio Max.

However with Autodesk subscription-based software charging you $200 a monthly fee for AutoCad for Max a $200 a monthly subscription fee it's time for me to get off my butt and switch over to SketchUp.

Not really looking forward to learning a whole new software but ketchup is $600 for a Perpetual license versus $400 a month rental to Autodesk.

I must say Autodesk 3D Studio Max is a lot more powerful and give you much better animation than SketchUp but is the cost really worth it?.

And most architectural firms just need to do two dimensional layouts for a building permit renting AutoCAD for $200 a month versus $600 for a Perpetual license well it's a no-brainer
