Sorry it took me a bit to get back to this thread. All in all I think the solution was your simplifying the sketch of the shape itself to arcs. I modified it again using only arcs and no splines whatsoever and the shape was able to be filleted as I needed. To re-create the curved surface in the zed direction of the object I needed to go back and simplify all of the curves that defined that curve with the same strategy. Also, the "Continue" arc was the biggest help as it made my arc's completely continuous and seamless. Now onto even harder shapes lol. Thanks so much for the insight!
