AutoCAD and Recap
Hello,
I am looking an advise of how to view a Recap file inside AutoCAD. In my pc, I have autocad and Recap installed, and I can xref a Recap file and able to view it. But my co-worker has only AutoCAD installed and he can not see the Recap Point Cloud.
Do he has to install Recap program on his pc in order to view the Recap Point cloud?
Thank you,
Dennis

He shouldn't need Recap as long as it is a RCS (not RCP) file.

Sorry! It is RCP color, but he still couldn't see the point cloud. Don't know why?

The RCP is a PROJECT file and your coworker will need access to all of the Recap files. If it is a RCS file - that is an exported Recap file and they should have no isses AS LONG AS they have access to the location the file is stored. Please remember these files are XREF files - not embedded files.
