Help with Paper Space dimensional scaling

I am currently trying to dimension a drawing using paper space dimensions.  My goal is to use a 0.15" dimension and text height but I am having trouble.  The text height says its .015" appears huge on my layout.  I have tried making a new dim style and also changing text height to 0 and using only the text height assigned to my dimstyle.  It seems like there's another scaling issue that's making my dimstyle larger than i want but i am not sure.  Please help me!

Possibility one: Are you sure your page size isn't just small? If you're used to looking at 0.15" text on a 24x36 page, but the page having the trouble is 8-1/2 x 11, that same 0.15" text is going to look huge.

Possibility two: Have you gone through DimensionStyles dialog? On the Fit tab, find the box labeled Scale for dimension features. Is the radio button for Use overall scale of  turned on? Is that scale set to 1.00? Having that scale set higher than 1.00 will cause your text and arrows to be larger than you expect.

Tcorey...thanks so much..i tried everything except measuring the overall dimensions of my layout page..it was in fact way too small.  Once corrected, everything is great.  Thanks for your response..I was so frustrated, i was about to clock out and go home..haha..you saved the day!!
