I am trying to import a DGN from Microstation Connect into AutoCAD 2015. When complete all looks good until I query the linear objects. All the line strings in Connect come across as splines in 2015. How do I make polylines from the line strings?

Hi @Anonymous,
I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!
Can you provide both the DGN and your DWG? I would like to see if there is something that can help with the SPLINES.

Thanks for the welcome John.
I saw that Splinedit will convert my splines to 3D polylines but only 1 at a time. Since we are a mapping firm and work with larger geographic areas (and many objects) I'm looking for either a Splinedit batch or a setting in the import command to accomplish this.
My files are below. The DWG contains my attempted import data. I'm not sure why the difference in size from the DGN to the DWG. The Forum wouldn't allow a file with DGN extension to post. I changed the extension to txt. Change it back to DGN and hopefully it will open.
Thanks much!

Hi @Anonymous,
It looks like the file import is working as expeced. The difference in file size can be fixed by running a -PURGE>Regapps.
There are a few apps in the Autodesk App Store that might change the splines to plines faster for you. SPLINECAM looks like it might do it. I haven't used any of these but they might be worth investigating.

"PEDIT" "M" (multiple) will allow you to select all splines and convert to polylines at once.
