Issue with Inserting Saved Drawing into Layout tab

I want to take a title block that I have saved and import it into a drawing that's complete, but I can only get it to import into the model space. I want it to only show up in the Paperspace. Is there any way I can do this?

Sounds like the layer to paste is off or freeze, it should work on both spaces.

Could this be a problem with the scale of the title block? If you do a zoom extents in paper space after you insert the title block, does it show up?

Is the title block drawing itself drawn in MS?

Maybe it's a scale or base point issue too.

When I paste it, it shows up. I just want it to show up on the layout tab and not the model.

Since you say copy/paste works, do this: instead of the just "pasting", use PASTEORIG command (paste to original coordinates), does it also vanish? If you use Zoom Extents does everything shrink?

Can you explain how you are trying to insert the title block drawing? If you are in a layout and do not have model space active, there should be no way to paste it into model space.

Did you paste the Title Block while in Paper Space but thru a viewport ?

@dimarco
There is no magic with Layouts/Paperspace AS TARGET and Inserts.
(Only important: Command Insert get only the Modelspace of a DWG as Block if you try to insert a DWG as Block)

Without long descriptions:
- Check Layers in your Layout for VP freeze
- if titleblock is a annotativeBlock check annoscale or set ANNOALLVISIBLE
