Hatch does not appear in drawing.

I am working in a file (AutoCAD 2015) that was converted from a Visio file.  Items that were filled in the Vision file did not convert and when I insert blocks from AutoCAD that were created with hatching inside them, the blocks show up empty.  Also when I take a polyline and make the width of it larger, it also shows up a empty line.

Thanks,

Randy

OR.... INSERT that file into one of your all-works-well template file, exploded, and enjoy using the program with settings you set all day long.

Can you insert a Visio (.vsd) file into a Autocad file as a block?

Nope.

That's too bad. When the .vsd file was saved into a Autocad file, there were items that did not make it through the converting process.
