A client who uses a Mac told me the PDF's I sent her to review are showing ghosted upside down text in Title Block. Anyone else have this issue with clients who use Mac's. The PDF's look fine to me so I am really confused. I have had this issue before with others who use Macs to read Cad PDF's.
Thanks in advance,
Paul Carvalho

Hi,
how did you create the PDF's?
Can you please upload such a PDF + a screenshot how it looks like on a Mac.
(maybe the drawing could help too)

When I open your PDF on the Mac it looks fine to me. Please verify that the image inserted looks the way it should. If it does, then I suspect there is something wrong on the recipients Mac. What is being used to view the PDF on the Mac? Preview, Reader, Acrobat...other?

Hi,
>> IO thought it might be her Mac
And to verify that I have pleased you to show a screenshot from what you or your partner sees on his/hers Mac.

Perhaps there is a font conflict of some sort on her side. Can she take a screen shot on her side to show what is being displayed and from which application? Does it just display that way but print ok?

she is using Preview on her Mac and says she can't even open these PDF's sometimes. Doesn't make sense to me John.

From the little reading I have done on Apple's forums, mismatched fonts can sometimes cause issues in the Preview app. I would suggest that your Mac user try using a different viewer such as Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, PDFelement or PDF reader. It would be interesting to see if these other apps work properly.
Personally I have never had an issue opening PDFs on my Mac but I do have Adobe Acrobat installed too and don't rely on the Preview app very much.
