Cannot complete command after Panning/Zooming
Here's an issue that's bothering me to no end. This works on 2016, but does not seem to work in 2018, so I'm trying to figure out if there's a variable and/or something I have to switch.
My issue:
I Right-Left select an edge of an object to stretch it. I click enter, I then click the basepoint (can be anywhere on the screen) and the object starts doing it's little stretch thing as it waits for me to click my second point, or type in a numeric value. All well and good, however as soon as I pan or zoom. The objects revert back to their original state and no longer can be stretched. The command window still says it is waiting for my second point, however if I type a numeric value, or click, the original objects do nothing.
This happens with move as well. It does not matter if by panning/or zooming I keep the objects always on the screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean with "right-left" select?
I am not sure if I completely understand your problem but if I select, stretch, click, pan and zoom I have no proplem with the second (landing) click.
Did you install the latest updates (2018.1.1)?

Could you try this ?
Switch of the High quality geometric and try the same,
Unfortunately that did not fix the issue. Thanks for something to try at least. ![]()

"right-left" select = a cross selection what you need for stretching (cross window, cross polygon selection)

Tried it with a single line in a new dwg, and the issue still persists. Yes a Logitech M720, however even if I use the laptop's touchpad with the mouse disabled the issue still remains.
Cheers.

OK, so I dont need to aks for disableing "logitec setpoint program"
Sorry, no ideas mor at this time.
Works perfect for me with 2018.1.1 in Modelspace,Paperspace and inside of Viewports.
Tested with a closed polyline(command rectang) and a crosswindow around one corner of rectang.
PAN and ZOOM of middle mouse button (mbuttonpan), also commandline 'PAN and 'ZOOM

Hi,
try to dock the command line so you can see more than one line permanently, that can help to solve some issues as you really can see more lines about what happened (not just 1 second or 2) and a locked command-line has less issues than the "new" style (new since 2013 I think).
