unhandled exception cf00000fd (cf00000fdh) at address a9e19470h ARX

Hello all,

Recently I have started having problems with autodesk autocad, 3dsmax, revit, they not respond and crash as I try to open them. For example as autocad is loading I get the error message;

 “unhandled exception cf00000fd (cf00000fdh) at address a9e19470h”

In a box headed “Exception in acexperience.arx ARX Command”

I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

Andrew

Hi,

>> In a box headed “Exception in acexperience.arx ARX Command”

This can only be an exception of AutoCAD, not from 3DSMax or Revit, am I correct?

Can you unplug your workstation from all networks ... does AutoCAD (and the other software) then start and work well?

Hi sorry,

Yes you are correct the message only appears on autocad however all my autodesk product are crashing on start up, I don't know if this is connected or not. I've tried to focus on autocad as that's the program I mainly use.

As for unplugging from a network, The programs are student licensed on my laptop.

Kind Regards

Andrew

Hi,

My question was: when you disconnect your workstation (or laptop) from all networks (LAN, WLAN, ...), does AutoCAD then start and work well?

Hi,

other trials are

  • create a new Windows user account, login with that account, start AutoCAD and see if the error appears again
  • turn off antivirus software, right-click the AutoCAD start icon and use option "start as administrator"

>> I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall

Did you do a clean uninstall as described >>>here<<<?

Good luck, - alfred -
