I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!
Is it possible to attach your drawing file so I can try to duplicate this behavior? I see this sometimes when the objects being hatched use splines. The way I usually can get it to work is to make sure that the object is flat using flatten. If possible I also convert the spline to arcs and lines and then join them in a polyline. You can also try to recreate the boundary using BO (boundary and then hatch the new boundary.
