I can assure you, you don't know *every* command. Why? Because not everything is a command, and AutoCAD is highly customizable. For example, we don't use LINE a lot here. We use tools which automate a lot of drawing tasks. Some of them are on palettes, some of them are at a context menu, and some are on the Ribbon; some of them are third-party, some are in-house developments.
While it's important to learn new things, and important to be efficient, it's also important to be flexible. Because your next job may involve using tools that are only in a Ribbon, or use CTB, or a host of other things, all of which you are *required* to do.
