Newbie would like to chat on line regarding help with AutoCAD. Anyone interested

I have reinstalled Autocad 2106 on a new computer and it's all different. I am missing panels and the acad.ctb file. Really need help. Thanks so much.

This is forum is for support in getting your product install and license.  Not a forum seeking assistance for a given Autodesk product.  Please use the AutoCAD forum.

However to your problem..  What version of AutoCAD?  You may need to run the reset to default that's located in your Windows Start Menu/Autodesk/AutoCAD section.   Any message?  What does you AutoCAD screen look like?

Also:

1 )  I am missing the panels that i am used to

2) the acad.ctb file is gone.

3) There are too many inches options – I use metres.

4) Also all the icons are smaller, without the words next to them.

Thank kyou

Ben

Reinstall? so what happened to the old installation?
Did you forget to grab all of your customized menu file, ctb files and more? Did you forget to export your old profile to reimport in the reinstall? It would seem so.
