I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!
There are two recent Microsoft security updates that I am aware of that can cause AutoCAD and Excel to not cooperate: KB4041691 and KB4041676.
Can you check to see if these are installed and if so, please try removing them to see if that corrects the functionality?
