I have a question that I can't find an answer to online.
I have imported a .dwg survey drawing into Revit and somehow managed to rotate it slightly before modeling my entire site and building at the wrong angle.
When I reloaded the survey into the drawing it came in at the correct angle and everything is off angle.
In order to correct it I would need to rotate all my geometries in Revit which I really don't want to do as I know it's going to create glitches and gremlins with views, joined elements etc.
So what I would like to do is rotate the original survey drawing in AutoCAD to match the incorrect angle then reset the World view so that it links into Revit correctly.
As it stands I can change the UCS so that it is parallel with the "incorrect" and it imports correctly however the World view is off angle which means that North is not perpendicular to the X axis which is not correct practise.
Is there a way to tell AutoCAD to change view the World view and in doing so reset/reposition the origin and the angle of the UCS?
I attach screen shots to help illustrate what I am trying to do.
