Aligned Dimension changes my text font style

I have had an issue for some time where I use an aligned dimension and it changes my text font style for the drawing.

I have to type "style", change it back and then "regen all" to get it back to normal.

Recently the problem has evolved into not only the text style changing once...then when I attempt to change it back it changes all the text to a simplex font and will not regen back to the original font. The only solution is to close out of AutoCAD and open the drawing again...then it's back to normal.

The font styles that have been doing this to me are:

Cantury Gothic and Calibri

I recently switched to Calibri with my entire template hoping this would help and it has not...

I am running Carlson on AutoCAD 2016 (Carlson Support tells me it is an AutoCAD issue...But i have friends who are Carlson users that are having similar issues.)

Thanks to all!

Hi,

Sorry that I don't help to solve the problem, but I can only confirm that I have not seen that and have not read about that ever before for plain AutoCAD.

So I guess your feeling about the add-on could be the right direction.

Do you use the AutoCAD dimension or do you start a Carlson dimension command?

What happens, when you start the AutoCAD dimension commands with underline + a point at the beginning of the command, e.g.

_.DIM or _.DIMLINEAR ...

does that also change the assigned font?
