chromium host executable- how to disable

Hi. I have seen this issue brought up on the forum before: chromium exe it is taking too much CPU...meaning about 70% on my notebook (which also tends to connect to overheating of notebook and freezing programs). The app runs all the time- i.e. also when I'm not working in auto-desk programs.

I looked at some solutions discussed, but they don't seem to work: e.g. logging out of A360- tried it (meaning I clicked on Autodesk 360 in "Devices and drivers") and I get the message that I am not signed in.

I am looking to establish whether I actually need this app (i.e. the chromium): what does it do? And, assuming I don't need it, how do I disable it?

For reference- notebook runs on windows 10, 64 bit OS, intel core i5, 8 GB RAM.

Thanks!
