That's a glitchy choice for R2018 (we have three of them), especially if you have not figured out how to get R2018 to use the upgraded video card and not the lame Intel Graphics option. Find out in GRAPHICSCONFIG command.
R2018 in Win10 on desktops with dedicated graphics cards (we have 20+) runs beautifully, performance is no issue as you just, literally, never ever notice anything.
