Ribbon Reference
Does anyone know of a PDF or Word Doc that shows images all of the available Ribbon Panels and their commands, dropdowns, flyouts etc.? I'm looking for something like a command reference but it showing each panel with all of its available commands. I still modify my setup to close the ribbon and use classsic toolbars but I've heard that some actually use the ribbon do their work...crazy I know! Rather than searching help each time they are looking for a command they want I was hoping for a visual command reference. I haven't had much luck googling and hope someone here has just what I want. Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I don't know of a visual command reference for the ribbons and panels but maybe I can point you in a good direction to using them and understanding them?
The pdf I am uploading here shows my screen with the Ribbon and Panel names in yellow rectangles.
Ribbons are specific to the processes you are working on, whereas panels are for commands withing a give process or phase of your work. The Home ribbon is a good mixture of the most common stuff.
I also have my traditional cascading menu bar turned on because there are some commands in AutoCAD that were simply not popular enough to be given a panel icon. To turn on the menu bar you can select the drop-arrow at the right end of the Application Bar (red rectangle), and toggle on the Menu Bar. Also notice other items that can be toggled on (I also have Workspaces and Match Properties on.
As for an OSNAP toolbar that you might be turning on... There is a "Hamburger Menu" at the bottom right of the screen (blue rectangle). You will find many tool icons that can be toggle on for visibility and will appear or disappear from the bottom bar. The Dynamic Input is not on by default BUT SHOULD BE (hear that Autodesk). Find your OSNAP icon and use that instead of turning on a tool bar.
Now about command referencing... The icons on the ribbons are designed to make sense and a tooltip appears if you hover on them for a second or so.. Panels sometimes show large icons with labels for most used commands, icons with drop arrows for commands with many option, and smaller icons for commands with similar command options.
If you have inadvertently turned off text labels or accidentally altered placements you can use the Workspaces list to return the screen to "Drafting and Annotation", the default screen layout when installing AutoCAD. When you setup your screen with certain icons turned on or visible and you adjust things the way you like, you can save your own workspace.
I was reluctant to use the ribbons at first but I decided that it was worth it once AutoCAD stayed with it. I truly believe that they have a rational layout and along with my trusty old menus I get work done quite efficiently.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

Thanks. What I was hoping for was a document like the command reference that someone may have already put together that incorporates each panel and possible flyout that could be studied so that I will know where each command that someone might be looking for is located. If they want to use the ribbon I would like to be able to direct them quickly without having them search the help or ramdomly searching through ribbons panels and drop downs. While I'm sure I could get used to using the ribbon myself I prefer more screen for my drawings than the tools. This is how I prefer my setup.
