There should be a way to change the current layer in a layer state. I unknowingly created a layer state on a layer that is turned off in that layer state and now there is no way to change it without creating a new layer state that I know of.

There is. Use the edit button. Select the current layer and change the layer settings.

I'm a little unclear as to what you mean, but you can go into the style manager>layer states and edit the layer state back to whatever you changed it from.

Got it. I just went to Edit and double clicked on the layer I wanted and that was it. Thank you!
