Ok I can not remember for some reason and can not find my baseplan that has all my dim styles and setting already set up so I have to start all over. I am working on a set of architectural plans that I am helping a friend with and it is all screwed up and I'm trying to fix it.
I know in the past I have use for my dim style
" DIM 48 " for 1/4"=1'-0"
" DIM 24 " for 1/2"=1'-0"
which I had everything already setup in my base plan that i would use to start a new set of plans with but that is what I can not find. Can anyone help me with this. I can not remember text height and arrows sizes. All that crap. If someone has a example of what they have set up for all that stuff that they would be will to help me that would be great or if someone would be will upload a drawing file with that so I could see how they have it set up.

Here's a template I use it has all the default style in it plus a few others I use. We use the EPM dim style as our default. We mostly dim in paperspace so it's annotative. Is that what you are looking for.
Edit: I just realized that's an autocad architecture template, but I think you should still be able to get the styles out of it with design center and look at them.

Hi @john.p.addy
This is considered old school but can still work very effectively. I have attached a chart I used to use as a cheat sheet.
If you want to explore Annotative dimensions take a look here.
I have also attached a drawing with some dimstyles for you to start with for creating your own.
