Please can someone help me? I have a drawing that is predominantly raster, so the image file is embedded and has worked in the past. I created a hatch inside a boundary in paper space and now every time i try to select that hatch, the program crashes. I need to delete the hatch for a new revision of this drawing, but cannot.
I have purged the drawing, as well as run the AUDIT command, and the fatal error still comes every time I try to select the hatch.
I am currently running AUTOCAD 2017, on windows 10. 24 GB of ram, so the system is more than capable... there has to be a problem with the file, that I am not picking up on.

Hi,

Can you first start command _DELETE and select then the hatch to erase?

HI @Anonymous,
Can you detach the raster images temporarily to see if it makes an difference? Is it possible to attach the drawing file to a post so I can see if there are some other options too?
Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

Thank you alfred! I feel really stupid for not having tried that first, but it worked.
