Hi
I have created views in paper space from a 3D model. But it comes in as a wire frame. The visual style seems to be locked. Is there a way i can change it to 'realistic'? Or do I have to use view ports to do this?

Good day
You can use the shaded option, it seems to project the material through:
- Select a created view
- On the contextual ribbon select the edit view command
- On the new contextual ribbon select the second dropdown
- Select the shaded option
See attached image for reference.
Those are the only 4 options available. If this does not give you what you need then you will need to use viewports
