Exploding text, exporting text to SketchUp

I need to export some 3D survey data to SketchUp. SketchUp does not import text so I need to explode it into lines. The problem with express tools' 'txtexp' or 'wmfout / wmfin' is that it flattens all points to z=0. Is there anyway to explode the text and keep its position in 3D space?

Thank You.

Hi @apstevenson,

If you need to keep the text at the same height, I suggest you see from the property bar the elevation of the text, once exploited you will see that the elevation will be 0, you just have to take all the lines, go to the same property bar and Place the elevation you had before. You only have to modify the Elevation because the position X and Y lie same,

It's the simplest thing I can think of,

I hope it is useful,

Thanks Imad. I had seen that page and whist CadSt does not work, i did find that:

https://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=importDXFtext

did work. I was put off as it said 'flat text'. The text is flat but the points are still in 3D space.
