Hello,
Have you ever seen this on a file?
This was sent to us to work on but we can't because off this mess.
My first thought was the point style setting and I thought maybe they didn't bother about erasing all the points.
The problem is first I can't select them to erase them or check what they are, and even if I change the point style to blank or change the set size and regenall it doesn't change a thing...
Any thought?
Thank you
Marielle

I had this once with an Architectural drawing sent to us. When I zoomed in and did a regen (or 2) the points became of manageable size but I was not able to erase or even pick them. What happens when you zoom in?

HI @Anonymous,
This does look strange. If you turn off Smooth Lines in GRAPHICSCONFIG does it go away? I too would like to see the file if you can attach it to a post.

I don't think it can be PDMODE. The image shows full-circle-shaped wacky things and partial-circle/arc-shaped wacky things, and the latter are not possible in any PDMODE setting. Also, if that's the issue, they would be able to check what they are and Erase them. Until the possible posting of a drawing in which this happens, I'm guessing it's an issue with hardware acceleration or something.

correct @Kent1Cooper
after i tested a few things I realized it was not pdmode.
I was curious if the POINTS would adopt layer properties and or Annotative scales.
they do not. as far as I could tell.
